The Long Beach Tennis Center USA proudly marked a historic milestone with the inauguration of its Lahore branch at the Central Park Sports Complex, located within the Central Park Housing Scheme. The grand opening ceremony, organized by Urban Developers Group, brought together distinguished leaders, sports officials, and international guests. The event was graced by chief guest Mian Tahir Javed, Chairman of Urban Developers Group, along with Punjab Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Mudassar Riaz Malik, guest of honor Sid Siddiqui, and special guests from the United States. Renowned international cricket umpire Aleem Dar and several American coaches were also present, reflecting the international significance of this initiative and its commitment to elevating sports standards in Pakistan.

The newly established academy is designed to operate under the supervision of highly qualified, foreign trained coaches from the United States, introducing modern coaching techniques, structured fitness programs, and professional mentorship for young athletes. The facility is part of a larger international standard sports complex featuring tennis, cricket, padel, football, and badminton facilities, creating a comprehensive environment for athlete development. Open trials will soon be conducted to identify talented and promising players from across Punjab and beyond, providing them with access to professional training and development opportunities. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between local talent and international standards by offering world class training within Pakistan.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sid Siddiqui shared his vision of giving back to his homeland by establishing a US level academy that will nurture raw talent and transform young athletes into international level players. The academy’s long term goal is to develop a new generation of tennis champions who will represent Pakistan on the global stage and elevate the country’s presence in international tennis. Officials emphasized that Pakistan has immense untapped potential, and with proper identification, structured training, and international exposure, the country can produce world class athletes. The academy also plans to organize an International Tennis Tournament in Lahore within the coming year, further strengthening Pakistan’s sports ecosystem and providing local players with valuable global exposure and competitive opportunities.
